Hey Gems!
My very first photo session was with my little “big” brother. He wanted me to capture his pre-prom engagements. So of course I said yes, but I had never shot couple photos before because I’m used to snapping selfies and usies from my iPhone but never an actual photo session. I knew it was going to be an important time for my brother so I had to make sure it was just right. So I took to Pinterest for inspiration, as I usually do anytime I need inspiration. I came across tons of different options and quickly noted it down and quick screen shots of how it should look. I honestly was nervous when the day came and I had to go into full photographer mode.
Go Time
With my Nikon in hand, comfortable clothes and shoes I made my way to the location. The hardest thing to get down was the lady to relax as we took on different poses. It may have been because her two little sisters were there and trying to capture those moments as well. But I just worked with her. I do have to say the pictures came out awesome, the most headache came from EDITING!! I just started using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 and getting things to work was hard, but after setting my presets it was smooth sailing from there.
Long story short, I’m really getting a liking of taking pictures with my Nikon!
